If you buy a product in our webshop, you must fill in an online form in which the necessary information is requested for the processing of your purchase.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

Basic-Fit processes personal data in the context of your purchase in the webshop and possibly to create a personal account. According to the GDPR, personal data is “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person”. This is therefore all data that can be traced directly or indirectly to your person. For the processing of your purchase or the creation of a personal account, we process the following data: first name, last name, address, zip code, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address.

HOW DO WE DEAL WITH THE SECURITY OF YOUR DATA?

Basic-Fit provides appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data against, among other things, loss, destruction or damage, unauthorized access or any other form of unlawful processing of your personal data. We do this, among other things, by taking physical and organizational measures for access security, shielding every desktop with username and password and authorization management so that your data cannot be viewed by all Basic-Fit employees. But this also includes keeping software up-to-date and regularly testing our security measures.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

The personal data you provide to Basic-Fit will be stored by Basic-Fit for a period of 6 months after the purchase has been sent to you. When you create a personal account, it will be kept for as long as you want to use it. Inactive accounts, to which no Basic-Fit membership is linked, are automatically deleted after 2 years.

DOES BASIC-FIT PROVIDE DATA TO THIRD PARTIES?

In principle, Basic-Fit does not provide or sell any data to third parties. However, Basic-Fit may be obliged by law or regulation to process your personal data and/or provide it to third parties.
